CLOSED | Managing director – Sweden

Our client is a leading global logistic company within FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods). The company has a business offering including international transports (all modes of transport), distribution, terminal handling, warehousing and pick-and-pack services. For this client we are looking for a managing director for Sweden. The extensive, expansive and profitable Swedish company is in the Stockholm area.

As MD you will have a P/L and operational responsibility and will report directly to the Area Director North Europe.

Main tasks are;

• To lead, further develop and coach your organization 
• To maintain and develop existing customer relations 
• To initiate and develop new business relations 
• To further develop the company´s approach towards new business segments 
• To be responsible for revenue and expense budgets 
• To ensure adherence to KPI: s, operational and financial, as decided by the company 
• To ensure organization compliance to company values

In order to succeed at this position, you must have:

• At least 5 years of experience in a leading position, with P/L responsibility, within the logistic industry
• At least 5 years of experience in staff management
• Thorough experience in terminal handling, warehousing, pick-and-pack and distribution
• Knowledge and experience in international transports would be an advantage
• Fluent in the English language oral as well as written
• Documented negotiation skills
• Thorough business economy knowledge
• Ambition, energy, commitment and business sense
