CLOSED | Manager imports oceanfreight – Gothenburg

One of leading global organizations is looking for a manager to their oceanfreight import department in Gothenburg. The person in this position has a budget- and P&L-responsibility and reports directly to the site manager.

The main tasks are to, together with your team, handle the ocean freight imports of your customers with a service and quality second to none. You will also participate in developing new customers and you will work with the sales team when developing solutions for customer tenders.

Your experience, knowledge and other qualifications should be:

• At least three years’ experience from ocean import forwarding
• A staff management skill and the ability to create a pleasant working environment, i.e. you are a ”team player”
• Operational oceanfreight import knowledge
• A good busines sense
• The ability to develop and implement processes which are beneficial to your customers
• An excellent ability to communicate, in Swedish as well as English, spoken or written
• Commitment, energy and sense of organization.

We believe you hold a university degree or similar within the fields of logistics, economics or similar.
